The front desk clerk at the Holiday Inn Express on Business Park Drive was arrested on Monday for stealing from the company, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Jennifer Renee Walker, 48, of the 4900 block of Dandridge Place, was arrested following an investigation by Sheriff's Detective Yomeka Evans, of the Caddo-Shreveport Financial Crimes Task Force.

Walker is accused of using her position with the company to steal money by making false complaints on behalf of customers and issuing partial or whole refunds. Between June and August, she issued $3,312 in refunds to her personal credit card.

Walker was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center and charged with felony theft.
