Graduation exercises for the 27th basic training class of the Caddo Sheriff’s Regional Training Academy will take place at 4 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, in the banquet room at Summer Grove Baptist Church.
 
Graduates will take the oath of office, receive their badges, and participate in a special ceremony where family and friends assist them with pinning on their badges for the first time.

Class participants received 320 hours or more of peace officer training in areas including law, patrol activities, traffic services, report writing, investigations, firearms, first aid, and criminal justice.

Graduates of the Academy are: John C. Childress, John M. Colvin, Darryl D. Council, James P. Murry, Clarissa H. Ogbuehi, Frederick W. Richardson, and Crystal M. Tasby, Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office; Derrik S. Caballero, Thomas D. Freeman, Jared Y. Kilpatrick, and Winfred E. McDowell Jr., Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office; Theodore D. Cox, Jason B. Marshall, and William A. Rolen, Webster Parish Sheriff's Office; Jordan C. Ebarb, Antonio L. Evans, Casey L. Hicks, and Kyle G. Mars, DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office; Danny E. Donica, Natchitoches Police Department; Tamara S. Jackson, Rusty J. Silvey Jr., and Antoinette R. Turner, Mansfield Police Department; Carilla J. Ruiz, Shreveport City Marshal's Office; and Floyd C.
