Two Caddo Sheriff's deputies will be promoted by Sheriff Steve Prator during a ceremony at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 14, at the Caddo Correctional Center. 

Alan Davidson will be promoted to the rank of Sergeant for the Marine Patrol, and Vernecia Webster will be promoted to the rank of Telecommunications Officer III in the Communications Division. Both are supervisory positions.

Since joining the Sheriff's Office in March of 1989, Davidson has served as a corrections deputy, bailiff, patrol deputy, and detective.

Webster joined the Sheriff's Office in March of 1997. She has worked as an administrative clerk, public relations specialist, and telecommunications officer.
