The Caddo Sheriff's Tax Department will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's holidays on December 24 and 31.

The Tax Department will be open on Monday, December 27, from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., although all other Caddo Courthouse offices will be closed.

Tax payments will not be considered delinquent if postmarked on or before December 31. Payments can be paid in person at the courthouse, by mail, on-line at www.caddosheriff.org, or by calling 1-800-272-9829 and selecting jurisdictional code 2800. There is a convenience fee collected by the private processing company for phone or on-line service.

Questions about tax bills and the assessment of property should be directed to the Caddo Parish Tax Assessor's Office at 226-6701.
