Caddo sheriff's detectives have arrested a second suspect for using credit cards stolen from a customer at a local restaurant to purchase gas and other items, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.
Latoya Lewis, 25, of the 9000 block of Mansfield Road, was employed as a waitress at a Youree Drive restaurant where she participated in the theft of a customer’s wallet and credit cards. Lewis used one of the stolen cards to purchase gas for her car. She and another employee, Amber Blazer, went to a local gas station at midnight and used the same stolen card to purchase fuel for eight different vehicles. Detectives later learned that Lewis and Blazer were filling the vehicles with gas and receiving half the purchase price back in cash from their friends, said investigating Det. Bobby Herring.
Lewis was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for the unauthorized use of an access card. Blazer was arrested on the same charge last week.
