A Marshall, Texas, man was arrested by Caddo sheriff's investigators for molesting two young girls in south Caddo Parish, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Ruben Pineda, 26, was in the Caddo Correctional Center for operating a vehicle without a lawful presence when he was arrested Monday on two counts of molestation of a juvenile.

Caddo Sheriff's Detective La Tienda Pierre investigated the complaint that Pineda had touched the two girls inappropriately while at their home in Keithville. The girls - ages 6 and 7 - disclosed the information during an interview at the Gingerbread House. The incidents happened on separate occasions within a few months of each other.
