Caddo sheriff’s deputies arrested a 19-year-old Shreveport man for having sex with a teen he met on Facebook, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Kevin T. Johnson of the 4200 block of Baxter was booked into Caddo Correctional Center by Detective Jared Marshall for indecent behavior with a juvenile and felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

Johnson came under investigation after he was found in a car with a 13-year-old girl by a sheriff’s patrol deputy investigating a suspicious vehicle at a west Shreveport park Friday night.

During an investigation by Marshall of the sheriff’s Youth Services Division it was learned that Johnson and the girl became friends on Facebook and had inappropriate chat conversations over a five month period. The two exchanged phone numbers and met in person several times. On two occasions earlier this month, they met and had sex, according to Johnson.
