Burglary Prevention:

This program teaches you how to observe and report suspicious activity in you neighborhood. The program provides a forum for you and your neighbors to meet regularly and address issues important to you.

Caddo Watch:

Volunteers monitor senior citizens who live alone by telephoning them daily. Services are provided by request or referral.

Child Abuse:

Deputies will teach you how to observe, report and prevent acts of child abuse.

Child Safety:

This program will provide you and your child with information on how to observe strangers and how to react when they are approached by a stranger.

It also provides you and your child with general safety rules and how your children can protect themselves when they are home alone.

Crime Victims Assistance

A person injured as a result of a violent crime or family member may file an application for financial assistance for medical cost, lost wages/support, funeral cost or catastrophic loss of abode by arson.

Applications to the State of Louisiana Crime Victims Reparation Program are directed and processed through a claims invetigator in the Sheriff's Office in the parish of the crime's occurrence.

Services provided to persons 60 years or older who are victims of crime through use of force or threat of force.

Personal Safety and Awareness for All Ages

You will learn what to be aware of and how to protect yourself from crime, how to avoid crime and to report it, and how to respond should you be attacked or victimized.

Deputies will come to your business or home and evaluate your level to be more secure.
