Welcome to the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office Data Processing Web Page. We are located in the Caddo Parish Courthouse in downtown Shreveport, LA. The Sheriff's office is currently operating a hybrid environment consisting of an IBM AS/400 midrange computer, NT Servers, PC's and AS/400 terminals. It is the goal of this department to ensure that the AS/400 and all of our PC's, dumb terminals, and printers are working properly and satisfy the needs of our local as well as remote sites.
The Data Processing department has been successful in keeping pace with changing technologies. We are always testing new products to implement into our system that will improve our employees' effectiveness and efficiency in order to better serve the needs of our community. We manage a wide variety of AS/400 and PC related products which are purchased from multiple vendors.
