Sheriff to name first black female lieutenant today

At a 3 p.m. news conference today (Friday, Sept. 4) at the Caddo Correctional Center, Caddo Parish Sheriff Don Hathaway will promote Sgt. Sheila Davis to the rank of lieutenant. Davis will be the first black female lieutenant in the history of the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office.

The promotion ceremony will be in the Media Room at the Caddo Correctional Center, 1101 Forum Drive (off N. Hearne Avenue about a quarter-mile west of North Market Street).
