Sheriffs' narcotics agents arrest two

Caddo and Bossier Parish Sheriffs' narcotics agents ended a short-term investigation at about 8 p.m. Tuesday when they executed a search warrant at 8941 Twelve Oaks and arrested the Shreveport couple living there.

The agents seized about a pound and a half of marijuana with a street value of about $2,400, a handgun and a rifle, $4,272 in cash and about $50 worth of methamphetamines. The agents arrested 34-year-old Marty W. Billingsley and 24-year-old Heather Billingsley, both of the 8941 Twelve Oaks.

The agents booked the Billingsleys at the Caddo Correctional Center and charged both with possession with intent to distribute marijuana. They also charged Marty Billingsley with two counts of distribution of marijuana and possession of methamphetamines. Bond had not been set early Wednesday morning.
