New phone number for "The Recorder"

Reporters and editors who have been calling "The Recorder" at 226-6656 for many years to listen to Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office news releases now have a new number to call. With the move of that recorded message system to the Sheriff’s Office telephone system, the direct line number will be the only access to "The Recorder." Callers to the old number will be given the new number. That new number is:

While there is not a news release on that number at this writing, the first one to be placed on the new number will air sometime today. Unless an incident intervenes, that release will pertain to the National Night Out "block parties" at the Sheriff’s Office Substations in Oil City and Keithville tomorrow night.
