Caddo Parish Sheriff Don Hathaway said today that he has terminated the employment of Marshall W Nelson, who was assistant chief deputy for operations, because of his unsatisfactory management of the Operations Bureau.

Sheriff Hathaway said Nelson’s termination is effective immediately. Nelson had been employed at the Sheriff’s Office since March 1991.
