Sheriff’s narcotics agents arrest three on drug charges
A joint investigation with the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Organized Crime and Narcotics Agents and agents from the Caddo-Bossier Narcotics Task Force led to the Friday evening arrest of three people for illegal possession of drugs.
Agents report at about 6 p.m. Friday they were starting on the execution of a search warrant at 3101 Midway Street in Shreveport. As the operation began, a car was driving away from the residence. Sheriff’s patrol deputies stopped the car and the occupants were detained and searched. The vehicle’s occupants were Edward Ray Trotter, Michael Floyd, Natasha Green and Green’s two-year-old daughter
During the search, agents found about 2 grams of crack-cocaine in the two-year-old’s diaper. All the suspects were returned to 3101 Midway Street where the search of the home was underway. Inside the home, agents found an additional 58 grams of crack-cocaine and about $2,000 in cash. The total net of 62 grams of crack-cocaine has a street value of about $6,200. A short time later, the suspects were booked into the Caddo Correctional Center as follows: Michael Floyd, 18, Springhill, and Natasha Green, 21, Pensacola, Fla., were both charged with possession of crack cocaine. Edward Trotter was charged with possession of crack cocaine in excess of 28 grams.
