A 30-year-old Atlanta, Texas, man was killed in a one-vehicle accident near the state line north of Rodessa late Wednesday.

Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Deputy David Austin said Rowdy C. Moses, 30, Atlanta, Texas, was southbound on La. Highway 1 about a mile and a half from the state line at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday when the 1993 Plymouth Voyager van he was driving ran off the left side of the road and hit a tree. Moses was pronounced dead at the scene by Caddo Parish Deputy Coroner Lisa Hayes.
