Sunday traffic fatality victim’s age was 27, not 17
The Vivian man who died in a one-vehicle accident Sunday morning on U.S. 71 in Hosston was 27 years old, not 17 years old as the Sheriff’s Office News Release issued Sunday morning stated.
Keith Wayne Moore, 27, of 623 Northwest Front Street in Vivian, was northbound at about 5 a.m. Sunday on U.S. 71 near the southern town limits of Hosston in Northeast Caddo Parish. Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Deputy Dale Hubbard said the 1991 Chevrolet pickup truck Moore was driving crossed the southbound lane and traveled about 465 feet along the roadside drainage ditch before hitting a clump of trees. Hubbard said the pickup truck rolled and came to rest on its top. Hubbard said Moore, who apparently fell asleep at the wheel, was ejected from the truck.
Moore was pronounced dead at the scene by Caddo Parish Deputy Coroner Vicki Foster.
