Caddo Parish Sheriff’s narcotics agents executed a search warrant tonight and arrested two Shreveport men on marijuana and weapons charges.

At about 6:20 p.m. Friday, Sheriff’s narcotics agents executed a search warrant at 6132 Canal Blvd. and seized a half pound of marijuana valued at about $960, three loaded handguns and $678 in cash.

The agents arrested Larry Maxey, 25, and Imaze Maxey, 19, both of 6132 Canal Blvd., and charged both of them with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and illegally carrying of a firearm. The agents also charged Larry Maxey with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The agents booked both men at the Caddo Correctional Center at about 7:45, where they remained at 9 p.m. pending bonds being set.
