Personnel

The Personnel Division is involved in the daily business of processing applicants for employment, handling insurance claims and entering employee data into the computerized personnel records system.

The division completed several major projects in 1995-96, including a Captains' Assessment Center in March and the implementation of a computerized performance evaluation system in April.

The main duties of the Personnel Division are hiring and processing new employees; maintaining personnel, disciplinary and medical files on each employee, and periodically updating changes in status of these files. Every day is a new challenge and the Personnel Division faces these challenges with dedication and professionalism.
