'55 Alive' class offered at Oil City Substation

Caddo Parish Sheriff Don Hathaway has arranged for a "55 Alive" program to be conducted March 23-24 at the Sheriff's Office Oil City Substation.

The program, presented by the American Association of Retired Persons, is a classroom refresher course on mature driving for drivers 50 years of age and over. An AARP specialist (Howard McDonald) will teach the class.

The eight-hour class will be conducted from 8 a.m. to 12 noon each day, and attendance at both classes is mandatory to successfully complete the course. Space is limited, so it is advisable to call for a reservation. There is an $8 course fee that may be paid the upon arrival at the first class session.
