
The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Volunteers In Policing (V.I.P.) is over 80 members strong and continues to grow daily. A V.I.P. deputy is a volunteer who has no arrest power and does not carry a weapon. V.I.P.s assist full-time deputies with duties including traffic, neighborhood patrols, community programs, and special events. They wear a V.I.P. uniform and are allowed to drive marked patrol cars for high visibility. V.I.P.s must be 21 years of age and have no criminal record. For more information, call (318) 681-1121.
